Military
The United States Military has an obligation to remain solely focused on their mission to defend our country’s freedom. The Department of Defense must focus all resources on the core mission to effectively counter military threats through preparedness and deterrence, not special interests or political agendas. It is Common Sense that the United States Military focuses on the simple objective to defend against threats to American citizens and the Constitution.

Elections
It is imperative for elections at every level of government to remain secure and transparent in order for citizens to have faith in the electoral process. The right of every citizen to vote is a sacred one, and all necessary measures should be taken to prevent infiltration of free and fair elections. Votes should be cast by individuals for the candidates that they believe best represent their interests as constituents. It is Common Sense that the citizenry requires free and transparent elections and have confidence that their vote is counted.
-
Crime / Community
Consistent application and enforcement of the law is critical for the security of a functioning society. No person is above the law, and no one should be exempt from obeying the law for any reason. Enforcement of the law requires well-trained officers that are empowered to do their job and protect the American citizenry, especially those who are most vulnerable to criminal activity. It is common sense that a nation built on the rule of law should enforce the law to create an orderly and safe society.
-
Border / Immigration
Secure borders are required for the sustainable functioning of a sovereign nation. A robust legal immigration policy that prioritizes security is a fundamental element of the United States. However, the threats of open borders, such as human trafficking, drug smuggling, and the overwhelming of our communities, should be addressed through enforcement of immigration law. It is common sense to secure the border and stop the illegal entry of migrants and drugs.
-
Energy / National Resources
Energy independence is critical to national security, especially given the ever-changing and largely unpredictable nature of global dynamics. The natural resources of the United States should be leveraged in a sustainable manner to guarantee freedom from conflict and hostile actors, and to promote the control of our own destiny. It is common sense that we utilize our natural resources to produce reliable and affordable energy.
